Writing became personal for Candy especially after she wrote her first short story at twelve years of age. The story described her mothers battle with leukemia. It was a difficult time but she endured with the assistance of her grandmother, who was Candy's rock. Candy writes paranormal, horror, spirituality, and childrens books. But her favorite genre is Paranormal. This arena allows Candy to expand upon what she already knows about this fascinating subject. Candy weaves aspects of the paranormal into each manuscript whenever possible. Lately, she has created something she calls "The Hells Series". It consists of "Hells Fire" and "Hells Gate".
