Lines of Love - End the Silence on Bullying

Rus VanWestervelt (www.rusvw.net), a mentor to writers and educators for over 25 years, believes strongly in empowering individuals through writing, creativity, and positivity. His research in metacognition (thinking about your own thinking processes) has inspired him to write and publish over 1,000 articles and strategies to help individuals around the world. He is the founder and director of Lines of Love (www.linesoflove.org), a growing organization that is providing support nationally in the effort to educate and offer awareness about depression, anxiety, suicide prevention, and cyberbullying. “We need to do all we can to remove the stigma attached to mental illness,” says Rus. “So many individuals are affected directly and indirectly by the actions of those who need help and support, but are just not getting it. Many of the resources are available already; the challenge is in matching the individuals in need with those resources.
