Pinetop Lightning, AxeHammerSaw - Feb 25,2013

KUDZOO welcomes two very different, and very interesting bands to the program. Carolina exports Pinetop Lightning have a smokin Southern rock sound that blends old school influences with their own originality. Excellent songs like "Jericho" with its social commentary make them even more interesting. We also welcome AxeHammerSaw from the great state of Texas. Its a three-piece group that features our old buddy Billy Eli on guitar and vocals, accomponied by Erin Keyfitz, a great female vocalist/saw player, and Jerry Hagins, a masterful banjo picker. Its Americana at its best. Billy calls it "antebellum Southern Rock." I call it fun. Join us!
