Host Deardra Shuler interviews Kim Coles about her upcoming show "Are You Normal, America?" starting on Monday, June 4th on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) at 9PM, a game show wherein contestants compete to win big prizes and determine if they are normal. Ms. Coles is an actress, comedienne, author, playwright and TV personality who is best known for her zany characters and outrageous humor. Ms. Coles arrived in Hollywood after being announced the runner-up in the “Big Beautiful Woman” pageant in Atlantic City, NJ. Her beauty pageant success culminated into a plus-size modeling career. She followed that as a stand-up comedienne. Later she appeared as Synclaire on Living Single for 5 seasons and then guest starred on Frasier, Six Feet Under, In Living Color, One on One and the TBS comedy series 10 Items Or Less. She Co-hosted the daytime talk show, In the Loop with iVillage and has been a guest co-host for various shows, including The View and Good Day Live. She hosted BET's My Black is Beautiful, a show that was part of a national initiative sponsored by Proctor & Gamble celebrating the diverse, collective beauty of African-American women. Kim appeared on The Mole and VH1's Celebrity Fit Club. She later added game show host to her extensive resume with BET's groundbreaking show Pay it Off, becoming the first African-American woman to host a primetime game show.
